InnSciD SP is committed to providing a respectful, safe and inclusive environment for everyone — regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, age, religion, nationality or academic background. This Code of Conduct applies to all participants, speakers, organisers, staff, sponsors and visitors at all event venues, online sessions and related social activities.
Expected behaviour
- Treat all participants with respect and consideration;
- Communicate openly and thoughtfully, valuing different viewpoints;
- Be mindful of your surroundings and of fellow participants;
- Comply with local laws and venue rules.
Unacceptable behaviour
- Harassment, intimidation or discrimination in any form, including offensive verbal comments, deliberate misgendering or unwanted sexual attention;
- Threats of violence, doxxing, stalking or sustained disruption of sessions;
- Inappropriate physical contact or photography without consent;
- Use of language or imagery that is sexual, violent or demeaning.
Reporting
If you experience or witness behaviour that violates this Code, please contact the organising committee immediately at innscidsp@usp.br. Reports will be handled confidentially and with care for the safety of those involved.
Consequences
Participants asked to stop unacceptable behaviour are expected to comply immediately. The organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warnings, expulsion from the event without refund and reporting to the relevant authorities.
